Hard Rock International has announced plans to open a new Hard Rock Hotel Algarve in Portugal. The new development will be located near the glamorous sand at Praia do Vau in Portimão, further expanding the global reach of the iconic brand. With construction set to begin in early 2024 and open in the summer of 2026, the property has about 275 luxurious rooms and suites, along with an additional 150 branded service apartments.
In addition to having direct access to the beach during the stay, guests can enjoy a variety of amenities, including the beloved Hard Rock City Kids Club, three restaurants, three bars, three outside pools, a rock spa, a gym, a rock shop, a sports area and a beach club.

An ideal holiday destination, the town of Portimão has a historic harbor, vibrant marina, and is world-renowned for its Algarve International Autodrome, where the Portuguese Grand Prix was held in 2020 and 2021. Bau Beach, where the accommodations will be located, is bordered by copper cliffs, teal water, and a variety of restaurants serving fresh fish.
